The Transformer Production Assembly Technician assembles and manufactures parts for transformers, as well as finishing and testing the final product.

Hours: Full-time / 40 hours wk Mon-Thurs 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Starting Salary: ≥$22.00/hr based on qualifications.

• Must be able to read/write English.
• Perform basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, and figure fractions and percentages).
• Punctual, self-driven and hard worker.
•Ability to operate equipment including operating table saws, shears, lathes, grinding equipment, drills, as well as packaging material and palletizing.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Familiar with production equipment and machineryMust be able to operate machinery.
• Sharp attention to detail in favor of identifying defects.
• Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Able to stand for long hours at a time.
• Ability to take and follow direction.
• Reports directly to the supervisor.
• Physically able to lift, carry and move up to 60lbs.
• Basic computer skills.
• Forklift certified.
• Prior experience in production-related work.
• Operate machinery to assist in the production process.
• Assemble materials and equipment as required.
• Inspect finished products for defects to ensure quality standards are met.
• Assist in the loading and off-loading of raw materials.
• Transport raw materials from one place to another.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure efficient production and deadlines are met.\
• Conduct inspections and quality control of products.
• Assist in lifting, carrying and moving heavy loads as required.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed
